Our Impact
Since Vision for Africa’s primary focus is evangelism and church growth, careful accounting is done for each mission; each of the people visiting the eye clinics are precious to God and therefore precious to us. Thousands have received Jesus as their Savior and joined local churches. Many US teams made up from over forty LCMS congregations have treated tens of thousands of patients since 2007.
Vision for Africa congregations now provides up to 10% of all eye care in Kenya (Ministry of Health)
Kenyan Schools of Hope has built a rescue center on twelve acres and already begun to house girls fleeing forced early marriage and female genital mutilation.
Vision for Africa missions have reduced the rate of malaria in two regions where the disease is endemic
Currently, 80 children are receiving education in Kongasis that would otherwise not be able to receive it.
